Abstract

“The unified origin shatters and then explodes into a multitude of acting monads. Marx’s gesture, therefore, carries not an epistemological but an ontological-historical significance; beyond recognizing the destruction, the ‘shattering’ of modernity in it, we can also witness a far more radical gesture: the gesture of reckoning with the origin. It is this gesture that allows anarchy to acquire its true meaning.” — Review by Zalán-György Ilyés on Reiner Schürmann’s Reading Marx – On Transcendental Materialism.
