The Pécs Journal of International and European Law (PJIEL) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by the University of Pécs, Faculty of Law. It provides a platform for high-quality academic research in the fields of public international law, European Union law, and related legal disciplines. Our journal is indexed in HeinOnline, DOAJ, Ulrichsweb, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences and REAL-J. The journal welcomes contributions from scholars, practitioners, and advanced doctoral students who wish to engage in critical and innovative discussions that contribute to the understanding and development of international and EU law.

General Call for Papers

PJIEL accepts submissions on any topic within the scope of international and European law on a rolling basis. Authors are encouraged to submit original research papers, case notes, or review articles at any time. Indicative deadlines are March 15 (for Issue I in a given year) and 15 October (for Issue II in a given year) but submissions are welcome continuously. Submissions are reviewed on a rolling basis and are considered for publication in upcoming issues.
