Ethical Guidelines

Ethical Guidelines

  • Authors are expected to use inclusive and respectful language.

  • Topics should be presented in a balanced and impartial manner.

  • If using copyrighted material from external sources, authors must obtain the necessary permissions.

  • Any potential conflicts of interest (e.g. funding sources) must be clearly disclosed.

  • Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited. See the separate Plagiarism Policy.

Note: While empirical research is uncommon in literary and cultural studies, authors working with human subjects or sensitive data must adhere to appropriate ethical standards, including transparency in research practices and the protection of anonymity and confidentiality where relevant.
