Abstract

The author has analyzed over 120 contracts from 1938 to 1945 on the basis of her own archives collection. The marriage contracts and other legal affairs concerning family matters are presented in general and five in detail. The author seeks to find the answers – based on the analyzed notary documents – whether or not there is a continuity between the marriage contracts at the end of the 19th century and from 1938 to 1945, and whether or not a distortion of the private law can be detected from 1938 and 1945.
