Statement to the publisher of the mathematical-economic journal Szigma - University of Pécs - and its editor - Gazdaságmodellezési Társaság - about the permission for publication and use

By submitting an article for publication to the Editor-in-Chief of Szigma, the Author of the article undertakes to submit the article to the Editor-in-Chief and agrees to the Editor and the Publisher publishing the submitted article in Szigma. The Author accepts and agrees that the article may be subject to independent peer review by the editorial team prior to publication and, depending on the outcome of the peer review, the editorial team may decide whether to publish the article, and acknowledges that the rights to publish and use the article after publication are vested in the Editor and the Publisher on the terms and conditions set out in this statement.

The preparation of the article and the granting to the Editor of the rights to publish and use the article was free of charge by the author, who has no claim against the Editor for any monetary remuneration or reimbursement of expenses, and considers the publication of the article by the Publisher with an indication of authorship (the granting of the right to publish) as a proportionate and sufficient consideration for the granting of the rights to use the article.

The right to publish and use the article without limitation as to space or time is reserved exclusively to the Editor and the Publisher, including the right to store, fix on a computer or electronic medium, print, publish in any printed form and on-line, reproduce, distribute, sell, and display the article without limitation as to location, language, time, number of copies or other restriction.

In particular, the rights of the Editor and Publisher in relation to the article which is the subject of this statement, in accordance with the contract between them, are as follows:

  • Making the article freely available and downloadable on your own official, publisher website, without time limit;
  • Distributing or otherwise commercially exploiting the article without geographical or time restrictions (to subscribers, one-time downloaders, one-time purchasers of the article archive, etc.);
  • Converting the article into any electronic format;
  • Publishing the article in the print journal.

The Author declares and warrants that he/she is the sole author of the article together with the co-authors indicated above – and that he/she has the consent of all co-authors to the publication of the article in this form –, that the article is his/her own original intellectual creation, and that he/she has not transferred the first publication rights to any third party, in whole or in part, prior to the signing of this declaration. On the basis of the above, the Author has the right to make this declaration and thus has every right to authorise the Publisher to publish the article and to exercise the rights of use in relation to it by submitting the article.

The Author is entitled to use the preprint version in his/her own teaching activities, to publish it by e-mail, on his/her website, or in the closed or unrestrictedly accessible repository of the Author's institute or university, including the REAL system of the Library and Information Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences. When publishing, the Author must in any case warn readers of the preprint version that the manuscript in question is not the final, published version of the article. If the final (full-text) version of the article has already been published online and its DOI is known, the author must provide the exact location of the final publication and include a link to the published article in the form of  http://dx.doi.org/ [DOI number of the article without brackets]). The Author is required to provide a temporary link to the journal before the final version is published and to replace the link to the article when it is published.
